Which turbocharger makes do you support?

Refurbishment, service, and spare parts for all sorts of axial and radial turbocharger i.e ABB, PBS, KBB, Napier, MAN, MET, Garrett, IHI & Holset turbochargers.

Do you service steam turbines?

RotoTech delivers expert turbine service solutions in Dhaka, including refurbishment of blades, diaphragms and nozzle vanes, damping wire replacement, dynamic balancing at our facility or on site, and on-site laser alignment. We supply all spare parts for Triveni turbines, with arrangements available for other turbine makers.

Do you service motors and alternators?

RotoTech provides end-to-end maintenance solutions, including regular maintenance, motor and alternator rewinding, dynamic balancing, and bearing housing refurbishment. Every machine is verified through our extensive electrical testing facility, and we execute scheduled maintenance projects directly at your site.

Can worn shafts and components be restored?

RotoTech combines advanced thermal spray technology with a fully equipped conventional and CNC machine shop to restore worn and damaged rotating components to their original specifications. We rebuild material on worn shafts, journal surfaces, bearing covers and other critical components, creating a dense, wear-resistant surface that often outperforms the original. We then machine it back to exact tolerances, all under one roof.

Do you take on complete projects?

From single-component repair to full electrical & mechanical project execution — including process replication and plant expansion work.

Where is your workshop?

Our premier service station is strategically located in Samair, Birulia, Savar, Dhaka-1347, Bangladesh a mere 3 kilometers from Dhaka Airport, offering convenient access for our clientele.

Spanning an impressive 14,000 square feet, our facility is meticulously designed to accommodate comprehensive maintenance and repair operations.

How large a rotor can you balance?

Our expertise extends to rotor dynamic balancing, where we handle rotors up to 5 tons, with diameters up to 2.6 meters and lengths up to 3.5 meters. This includes balancing for turbochargers, turbines, motors, alternators, cooling fans, impellers, crankshafts, multistage pumps, compressor screws, and pulleys.

A dedicated dynamic balancing machine with a 450 kg rotor capacity, exclusively for turbocharger balancing.
Another dynamic balancing machine with a robust 5000 kg rotor balancing capacity, capable of handling a wide array of equipment, including generator rotors and large motors.

Why does shaft alignment matter?

Misalignment is one of the most common causes of vibration and premature failure in rotating machinery. RotoTech uses advanced laser alignment systems to measure and correct it accurately, so your equipment runs smoother, lasts longer and costs less to maintain.

What equipment do you have?

RotoTech is equipped with a complete in-house testing and restoration facility. We offer full electrical diagnostics (IR, winding resistance, polarity, impedance, surge comparison, high-voltage and core loss testing), universal dynamic balancing up to 5 tonnes, field balancing, and precision laser alignment. Our CNC machining, high-precision thermal spray and precision measurement tools support exact restoration, while MPI, DPI and X-ray testing, infrared thermography, and vibration and noise analysis ensure structural integrity and early fault detection. Dedicated rewinding, varnish baking and advanced dry and wet cleaning facilities complete the process, delivering reliable, long-lasting results.

Yes. RotoTech Bangladesh Limited is the Official Master Distributor of Garrett Motion, an Authorized Service Station for Napier Turbochargers, and the Local Representative of VVK TurboTech. We are collaborative partner with iMak, Shakti Turbines, JAKA, Turbogeneral (Greece) and EM Services (India) Private Limited. With over 800 services completed, we deliver OEM-standard quality you can rely on.

To what standard do you balance?

We balance rotors up to 5 tonnes to grades as fine as G0.4 under ISO 21940, with minimal downtime.
